Founded in 2017 and renowned for creating quirky, engaging factual entertainment, Barefaced TV is led by Rosie Bray and Lucy Golding, who met while producing the iconic Noughties reality show Snog Marry Avoid? for BBC Three. Barefaced's 2019 series on body image, Naked Beach, was a success for Channel 4, and the team's first commission since joining STV Studios in 2020 was Written in the Stars, an astrology-themed dating series for the international streamer, discovery+.

Brighton-based unscripted supremos Hello Mary joined the STV Studios family in 2021. Founded by Steve Regan in 2019, the company has since won and delivered a range of titles for a variety of broadcasters across entertainment, documentary and popular factual including One Night Stand for E4, Ghosts Trapped Underground for Really and, most recently, The Royals: A History of Scandals for More4.

Mighty was created by Lynn Sutcliffe and Hugh Rycroft, who have been involved in developing and producing some of TV’s biggest hits, including The Weakest Link, !mpossible and Tipping Point. Most recently, Mighty was commissioned to produce Sex Rated, a new studio series hosted by Rylan, which will air on Channel 4 in 2023. The team also recently developed One and Six Zeros, a new quiz format for Channel 4 presented by Dara Ó Briain. STV Studios acquired a minority stake in the company in 2022.

London-based Primal Media is the producer of a range of innovative unscripted formats such as Release the Hounds (ITV2) and Bigheads (ITV), which won the Rose d'Or for Game Show in 2017. The company also co-produces the scripted comedy Jerk, which aired for a third series on BBC Three in 2023. Managing Directors Mat Steiner and Adam Wood lead the team, and after partnering with STV Studios to co-develop new formats in 2019, Primal's first commission was the public art competition series Landmark, which aired on Sky Arts in 2021.

STV Studios has an exclusive partnership with Tod Productions - led by acclaimed drama producer Elaine Collins (Vera, Shetland) - to develop and co-produce a slate of projects, including a number set in Scotland. The first of these to be commissioned was eight-part thriller Criminal Record for Apple TV+. Written by Paul Rutman, the powerful drama stars Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo and touches upon issues of race, institutional failure, and the quest to find common ground in a polarised Britain.

The company behind BAFTA-winning mini-series Patrick Melrose, Two Cities is led by British TV stalwart Michael Jackson, former Controller of BBC One/BBC Two and one-time CEO of Channel 4. Along with Creative Director Stephen Wright, Michael has built Two Cities' reputation as a leading producer of event drama. Since STV Studios acquired a minority stake in the company in 2020, Two Cities has been commissioned to produce Blue Lights, a groundbreaking police series set in Belfast, which aired on BBC One to critical acclaim in 2023.
